Space Opera: Firefly

    The space opera that I'm writing about is "Firefly." It is a high adventure story set on different planets in the galaxy. It has many qualities of classic western films. For example, Captain Reynolds is always getting into trouble when he is trying to save someone, and just like the good cowboys in white hats, he has a shoot out and saves someone. It is also like a comedy because all of the characters are out cast and enjoys sarcasm and playing joke on one another. On a serious side, it is a war story because they are still dealing with the affects of the Unification War. Like any good opera, there is plenty of romance and broken hearts.
