Winsor McCay's Comics: Little Nemo and Dream of the Rarebid Fiend

When reading Winsor McCay’s comics Little Nemo and Dream of the Rarebid Fiend, it seems their speech is a bit lacking like they are talking in English but when one of the characters finished speaking, it ends with a hyphenated and continued on the next square. Some of the characters speak normally but some speak improperly. The comic Little Nemo shows descriptions on the bottom of the picture that tells a story about Nemo's dreams and the picture shows it. Little Nemo pictures show bizarre images that can change from small to big and long that can fit the rectangular boxes depend on the size of the image that brings up to the climax and at the end of the story, Nemo woke up from the dream. Also, he uses color in the comic to make it look fun and brighten the mood.
The Dream of the Rarebid Fiend is a pretty funny comic. It is not one of the choices of the assignment but it is related to Winsor McCay’s work. This comic shows different minor characters having dreams about what would have been if their lives were better and at the end, it went wrong. Late, they show them awaken up back to reality and blaming about it is the entire Rarebid fault by having those dreams. Some of these dreams are connected to their daily lives before or after. Like Little Nemo, this comic does bizarre like images but not too much over us of long rectangle boxes. In this comic, he uses black and white instead of using color.
