My thoughts on Howard The Duck.

When reading "Howard The Duck," this comic felt like an action story. When I look at the characters, their appearance shared a style of art just like in the Superman and Batman comics. When I look a the protagonist, I did not expect it is a duck who is playing the protagonist. This duck named Howard reminds me of Donald Duck. It looked like this comic is putting a cartoon character in a serious human environment. It is kind of ironic to see to see a cartoon duck taking on serious situations in the human world. For example, Howard the Duck and his assistant Beverly Switzler heard a racket upstairs and go investigate of what is going on. When they got there, they say Paul the artist pounding on the floor for some reason. They realize he was sleepwalking and suddenly he attacked them because of what he is dreaming he thinks they are the bad guys. Howard slapped the Paul to wake up. When Paul woke up, he tells them about his childhood about why he is having these strange dreams.

It is amazing that back then they make this kind of comic. They really make a kid-friendly cartoon character into a serious toon who takes action in the human world. It is silly but the same time interesting. Usually, cartoon characters make jokes and not take things serious with no worries, but now they show one cartoon character taking on real life and understand to take things seriously and not all the time to make jokes and to worry what is around him more carefully.
