Adaptation

In the Star Wars Episode V: Empire Strikes Back, one of the characters was Chewbacca. If I was an actor playing the part of Chewbacca, I would make this character unforgettable. Since he's fighting for the rebels, this character should be strong and brave. His outward appearance should be the same as his is in the film. He is 8 feet tall, covered in fur, and can pick up a grown man and throw him across the room. Since he is so big, he can carry larges blasters.

His physical qualities make him a defender of the good guys. He is very protective of his best friend Han Solo, the princess, and Luke. He can seem to be intimidating especially when he growls, but I think he should have words mixed in with his growls. His personality is a mixture. Sometimes he is very serious, but other times he can be very funny. I would be hard for the audience to tell which mood he is in because he is covered in fur. So the actor will have to be very good about showing emotions through his actions.

One special part of this character is his friendship with Han. This should be a buddy comedy with lots of physical stunts and funny dialogue. For example, they should play tricks on one another and try to outdo one another in battle. Also, they should always have one another's back and be loyal no matter the circumstances. While Chewy might be a minor character in the script, he is very memorable in the film.
