Long Form Television

    I chose to binge watch Waco Valley. I watched all of the episodes available onYoutube. This is creative and simple animation. The main character is Lonnie Johnson, and he is a dinosaur. His job is a news reporter, but he is bad at his job. That makes this show a comedy. He and his coworkers are dinosaurs and everyone else is a human. One example of his bad reporting is when he missed the story of the car wash murder and just reported the car wash opening. The stories are funny but silly so some people would not like them.

    If this series had been created before Youtube, it would never have been put on regular broadcast T.V. Since streaming has made shows more available, shows like Wacko Valley now have a chance to be seen. Even though the animation is not good, the creator still has the right to publish it on Youtube. The audience of this show is probably for young adults because the older generation watches broadcast T.V. more than streaming shows. Youtube is a part of our everyday life. Services like Youtube, Netflix, and Hulu, give us lots of options for shows to watch, and they give creators lots of places to offer their shows.
