Literary Speculation

     The Aquatic Uncle is a short story about the time when fish evolved into amphibians. This part of the story is the only thing that seems like Sci-Fi/Fantasy. Otherwise, this story could fit into any genre. The basic storyline could be anyone's family who gets together once a year and has to deal grumpy who seems to be stuck in the past. It has some funny conversations and family care understanding of the uncle. So in my opinion, this story has more elements of a traditional fiction short story than it does the common elements Sci-Fi/Fantasy.
